Korean Hall - now in holodeck

Since I am living IN Korea, I decided to make a Korean style building for Paichai University... i sampled several textures from Google, and spent a few hours refining my building... I hope you like it! Cheers!

waterfalls and cystal palaces...

Hey everyone, well, after spending last week mastering seamless textures, i finally set down for some solid building... after spending most of saturday and sunday, I managed to build a massive waterfall, and two huge cliff structures to house my Holodecks... a big improvement from the last design... atleast now, my residents will have a place they can explore and hang out at... let me know what you think!

adapting sl technology

Arround the island, I have placed several holodecks where my resident teachers can instantly rez huge structures... like castles, or classrooms... here is the control panel I created - here you can see, the user can select from 7 different menus. The exterior button displays a menu which changes the exterior part of the building - to say - a castle. The other buttons are for the inside of the building...

Kips Class!

Today Kip is having his lesson 500meters above the ground as I am re- terraforming the island to better suit the community. To facilitate transportation, I put a special vehicle in our teleport station: "The Onion" - to carry people to the classroom! There is also a teleport button waiting to take you to kips class. figured out how to stream my desktop

Hey Everyone, I figured out how to stream my desktop into SL today... very cool - especially for training! Basically, i found this program called wirecast... it allows for live streaming quicktime from your webcam. Its made by vera soft... cool thing is, they also have another little piece of software that allows me to stream my desktop too... so - combining this with my own media parcel in SL, and a streaming server, I can have my desktop AND my face on any prim i choose...c ool!
